RWPZ of course is our hometown zoo. It's always a win win place with the kids. They get to see all types of animals and it's a great place to tire them out! It's always one of our go to places when we are having an "off" day but still want to get out. We both have memberships now (I just got mine, thanks Uncle Jon!) so it's been far worth it! Even when they were babies it's still a great place to get out and enjoy some fresh air. Besides, who ISN'T impressed with 3 elephants and 4 giraffes? I could stare at them all day long (literally. the website has a new feature of a Giraffe-Cam. I dare you not to stare at it on off hours). It's a MUST see to experience!
And not just the zoo; there's a carousel, a boathouse (with boats to rent for paddling), and a playground! Plenty of places for picnics.. it really is an all around win win place.
